An Homage to the Artistry of the People of Omo Valley, Southern Ethiopia, Africa.
by Nicolas Jurnjack
A few years ago Elisabeth Toll a great friend and photographer gave me a fantastic book by Hans Silvester, saying, "Here is another source of inspiration for you".
In this book I discovered some absolutely incredible artists in an indigenous People who live in the Omo Valley.
The exceptional beauty of their hairstyles, which use plants and organic elements are ephemeral creations, poems to volume and architecture.
