Hair bungees exist in practically every color imaginable, but are difficult to find in longer lengths. A metal hook allows the ends to be held together to form a circle.
They are fairly fragile so I use a small dot of serum where the metal hook meets the rubber so it can withstand more tension.
They are ideal for holding hair solidly in place. Unlike a rubber band, the bungee is easily loosened or tightened by unhooking the ends and winding or unwinding the elasticated section without destroying the style and without having to handle the hair too much.
